We have been working on Devfine for 2 months now and I’m happy to announce that Devfine has been launched! In the summer holiday I’ve been working on Devfine nearly every day. In these weeks I’ve seen many problems with codes and files. But the first big part is done now.

How It Started!

Devfine first was nothing more than an idear of myself. In January 2009 I started thinking about creating a website. After thinking about a few concepts I started working on a Contest Website. I wanted to create a website where people could request a design and a designer or a design firm would create it for the price specified. But after a few months of designing/thinking/learning I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t a good idear. There are very much contest websites on the internet. It would cost alot of money to create a contest website that is successfull in that concept because I personally wouldn’t start a contest at a website where no contest were submitted yet. that would be a waste of time.

After that I started thinking about a new concept. Since I wanted to start a design company earlier but never started with it, I took the chance and started working on a design for my development company. After a couple of concepts, this design was the best. I worked it out and created several page designs for it. Also I’ve been playing with the height, width, colors for a pretty long time. At the start of the Summer break I started creating it into a real website. I allready learned PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, SQL on my education. So finding a place to start wasn’t that hard. I could have done the html and css coding myself. But I wanted to have everything right for every browser. So I hired psd2html.com They did a great job on coding the pages to xhtml and css and also created the JavaScript project carousel for me. At the end i’m Very happy with their service.

What Are The Plans?

For now the plans are as following: We will do development requests for clients and we will post as many creative, attractive and interesting posts on this blog. We want this blog to be a place where you can learn and find interesting things about designing and developing. That’s why we would like YOU to send us idears of subjects where we should write about.
